JANUARY
As the new year began, PETR used the off-season to prepare for another busy event season ahead. January was a time of refinement and readiness, a chance for our team to fine-tune our products, review our practices, and ensure every detail met the high standards our customers expect. By investing this time and energy in preparation, we will position ourselves to deliver even greater quality and efficiency for you, the customer, in the years to come.
A key part of this ongoing improvement is Premier Tent Fabrication, our in-house manufacturing division. Having our own fabrication facility gives PETR a significant advantage, enabling us to produce high-quality tent fabric in-house and customize solutions to meet each client’s unique needs. This capability ensures that every structure we provide is built with precision, durability, and the personal touch that sets Premier apart from other industry suppliers.
FEBRUARY
Even in the heart of winter, PETR continued to prove that incredible events should not be limited by the weather. Our ability to provide sealed and heated spaces ensures that celebrations remain comfortable and inviting, even during the coldest months of the year.
This February, one of our standout projects took place in Milton, where our team transformed a backyard pool area into a stunning, climate-controlled venue. By building a raised floor directly over the pool and enclosing the space with a tent and heat, we created a warm, cozy atmosphere for an unforgettable birthday celebration.
Projects like this showcase PETR’s versatility and commitment to delivering exceptional event solutions throughout the year. No matter the season, PETR has the expertise, equipment, and creativity to bring any vision to life.
MARCH
As March arrived, PETR wrapped up the final weeks of the quiet season, eager to dive into another exciting year of events. While the warmer months were just around the corner, our team stayed busy supporting Ontario’s thriving film industry, one of our key areas of expertise. Throughout 2025, PETR provided tents, flooring, doors, lights, and custom solutions for numerous film and television productions across the province.
A standout project this month took place at Claireville Conservation Area in Brampton, where we supplied a full 40’x105’ tent setup to support a major production on location. With extensive experience working alongside industry leaders such as Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, Disney, and Paramount+, PETR is proud to be a trusted partner in creating reliable, comfortable, and professional on-site environments for film and television crews year-round. As we look ahead, we are excited to continue building strong relationships and contributing to more incredible productions in 2026.
APRIL
As the weather began to warm up, April marked the unofficial start of event season for PETR. This month signalled the transition from preparation to fullscale installations, as our team began setting up season-long rentals that remain in place from Spring to Fall of 2025. These long-term projects showcase our versatility; from elegant temporary event venues to fully functional temporary office spaces, PETR provides reliable, comfortable, and visually stunning solutions that exceed your expectations.
A highlight of this season was our 20m x 20m Clear Fabric Monaco Conservatory Structure at Eaton Hall in King City, a breathtaking venue that hosted more than 150 weddings throughout the summer. Another standout project was the temporary clubhouse we constructed for a private golf club in the GTA, allowing members to continue enjoying their facilities while renovations were underway for a permanent clubhouse.
These installations exemplify that PETR is more than a provider of short-term weekend rentals, and that we also specialize in long-term, high-quality structures tailored to meet our clients’ unique needs all year long.
MAY
May marked the official start of event season for PETR, as wedding celebrations began in full swing and our calendar quickly filled with beautiful events across Ontario.
Among the many highlights this month was our continued partnership with The Brick, providing tents for their bi-annual tent sale at over 30 locations provincewide. We deeply value this relationship and appreciate The Brick’s continued trust in our team to deliver reliable, professional setups that help make their tent sales a success.
Our largest project in May took us to URJ Camp George in Muskoka, where a devastating fire had destroyed their dining hall in January. Faced with the challenge of how to accommodate their campers in June, PETR stepped in to design and build a fully functional 6,000 square foot temporary dining facility on a custom elevated deck floor.
Once completed, this structure allowed the camp to operate as usual and ensured every camper continued to enjoy the full Camp George experience. Projects like these highlight PETR’s adaptability, craftsmanship, and commitment to helping our clients succeed, no matter the challenge.
JUNE
June was an extraordinary month for PETR, highlighted by our efforts on one of Canada’s most prestigious sporting events, The RBC Canadian Open, hosted at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon, Ontario, for the first time.
This world-class PGA Tour event showcased PETR’s full range of capabilities. Our team built 207 tents, 472,402 square feet of flooring, and 13,728 linear feet of fencing and railing to create a seamless and professional experience for players, sponsors, and spectators alike.
This project represented the culmination of months of planning and dedication, and we extend our sincere thanks to RBC and Golf Canada for their continued trust and partnership with PETR. The tournament itself was a tremendous success, concluding with an exciting playoff finish, the perfect end to another year of collaboration.
Beyond the golf course, June also marked one of the busiest wedding months of the year for PETR. We were honoured to be part of dozens of beautiful celebrations, including a stunning, clear fabric Monaco Conservatory installation in Schomberg that captured the essence of Summer Elegance.
JULY
With our team busy bringing countless celebrations to life across the city, a standout specialty this month was our floor-over-pool installations, a unique solution that allows clients to transform their backyard pools into fully usable event spaces. PETR offers both raised and flush floor options, with the added option of plexiglass panels to create a stunning translucent effect.
These projects are unique in design, requiring precise engineering, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail, and PETR has earned a reputation as the best in the GTA at executing them flawlessly.
In July alone, we completed numerous floor-over-pool setups, enabling clients to host unforgettable events at home, even when space appears to be limited. The results never fail to impress, leaving our customers in awe and providing an elegant, functional solution that truly elevates any celebration.
AUGUST
August was an exciting month for PETR, filled with great events across the country. A highlight of the month was our involvement in the CPKC Women’s Open LPGA Tournament, held at Mississauga Golf and Country Club from August 20th to 24th. PETR supplied 100 tents, 97,000 square feet of flooring, and 5,509 linear feet of fencing and railing, helping bring this world-class event to life. The tournament was a tremendous success and a proud moment for Canadians as Brooke Henderson (born in Smith Falls, Ontario) captured her second title at this event, her first since 2018. We extend our sincere thanks to CPKC and Golf Canada for their continued partnership and commitment to excellence.
Earlier in August, PETR also supported the Rogers Charity Classic, a Champions Tour PGA event hosted at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club in Calgary from August 15th–17th. Our extensive experience with Professional Golf Tournaments once again ensured flawless execution and an outstanding experience for players and fans alike.
In addition to these sporting events, PETR was proud to play a key role in the Veld Music Festival at Downsview Park, one of Canada’s largest electronic music festivals. Our team provided premium products, including over 50 tents, ensuring that the festival ran safely and smoothly while maintaining the vibrant atmosphere Veld is known for.
Meanwhile, wedding season continued in full swing throughout August, with our crews delivering stunning setups across Ontario, from elegant clearspan structures to multi-tent installations that reflected each couple’s vision. The combination of large-scale national events across the country and intimate personal celebrations in the GTA made August an extremely busy, rewarding, and successful month for PETR.
SEPTEMBER
September was a showcase month for PETR, highlighting what truly differentiates us in the industry. Our ability to deliver luxury weddings in unconventional outdoor spaces with unmatched expertise and craftsmanship. Throughout the month, we brought dozens of breathtaking wedding visions to life. One of our most complex installations took place at Magna Golf Club, where our team engineered an elevated deck floor over an existing fountain, creating a stunning focal point and providing the additional space needed to accommodate the couple’s 250-person guest count.
Shortly after the Magna set-up was removed, we installed our Monaco Conservatory in Burlington, where elevated deck flooring and an extended porch set the stage for a truly breathtaking waterfront wedding. Our crews spent considerable time in Muskoka as well, delivering a series of remarkable weddings that blended seamlessly into the region’s natural beauty. Our Sand Monaco Tent, with its refined aesthetic and natural tones, helped create unforgettable experiences for couples celebrating among Muskoka’s iconic lakes and trees.
In addition to our wedding projects, PETR was honoured to return to the International Plowing Match, held from September 16th to 20th in Grassie, West Lincoln, providing over 35 tents. This major agricultural event is a staple of Ontario’s Fall season, and we were proud to once again provide the infrastructure needed to support its success. Being involved in such an acclaimed and community-driven event is always a privilege for our team.
OCTOBER
As Autumn arrived, October continued to bring beautiful Fall weddings where we specialized in creating warm and elegant settings amid the changing leaves. Alongside these celebrations, this month marked the beginning of a different operational focus for PETR, the service of customer-owned tents.
Many of our clients own their structures and keep them up all summer. PETR carefully removes the fabric and framing, transports it to our indoor storage facility, where it is cleaned, repaired (if required), and stored until spring. A key part of this service is our industrial fabric-washing system, designed specifically for tent materials. This capability allows us to professionally clean fabric after every use, ensuring it stays bright, fresh, and in top condition for the next season. This level of care and infrastructure sets PETR apart from competitors and reflects our commitment to long-term client partnerships and quality maintenance.
October represented the conclusion of the busy season, a time when our versatility and commitment were as important as ever. Whether creating warm and intimate spaces for Autumn weddings or delivering polished setups for corporate clients, PETR remained focused on providing exceptional experiences and maintaining the high standard that defines our work year-round.
NOVEMBER
November marked the beginning of the off-season for PETR, and our team focused on takedowns, equipment organization, cleaning, and preparing our inventory for the winter months ahead. While much of our work shifted toward maintenance, including inspecting, repairing, and professionally cleaning fabric in our industrial washing system, PETR remained active in the field.
November continued to bring steady demand for film production tents, security tents, and corporate functions, all of which require climate-controlled structures as temperatures begin to drop. This balance of ongoing installations and thorough off-season maintenance ensures that every piece of equipment, from fabric to flooring to hardware, remains in top condition for its next use in the Spring of 2026.
November also allowed us to begin planning for upcoming winter projects and long-term installations that require precise logistics and preparation. Though much quieter than peak summer, November is an essential part of the PETR cycle. It is a time to reflect, regroup, rebuild, and plan on how we can continue to meet client needs while ensuring our inventory is ready for the busy year ahead.
DECEMBER
December offered the PETR staff the chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate the journey we took throughout the year. From large-scale national events to intimate weddings and complex, intricate builds, 2025 was a year filled with hard work, extensive travel, and countless hours of dedication from every member of our team. We look back on both the positives and the challenges, the projects that inspired us,the logistical puzzles that pushed us, and the unexpected hurdles that made us stronger and ready for the future. Each experience, whether smooth or difficult, contributed to our growth and fueled our commitment to becoming even better in the years ahead.
To celebrate all we accomplished, PETR hosted a team-building event at K1 Speedway, giving our staff the chance to unwind with some friendly go-kart competition. The energy, laughter, and fun rivalry created the perfect environment to strengthen connections across the team. It was also an opportunity for PETR management to show appreciation to the people on the front lines who make everything possible. This moment of camaraderie and joy was exactly what the team needed as we recharged and prepared for the year to come.
December reminded us that our success is built on teamwork, resilience, hard work, and a shared commitment to pursuing excellence. With gratitude for 2025 and excitement for what lies ahead, PETR proudly looks back on another year of growth, innovation, and extraordinary events.
LOOKING AHEAD
As we turn the page to a new year, PETR is energized and excited for everything 2026 has in store. The year ahead is already shaping up to be one of our busiest yet, with countless weddings, corporate events, festivals, and major golf tournaments scheduled across Canada.
Leading the way for exciting new opportunities is our upcoming contract with the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. Our extensive experience and product offerings supporting PGA tournaments in Canada have resulted in the privilege of tenting this prestigious international event. Beginning in January, a dedicated PETR team will be bringing our expertise, precision, and renowned quality to the USA, a challenge we are honoured and thrilled to embrace.
In addition to this milestone project, 2026 will feature a full calendar of luxurious weddings, each offering new opportunities to showcase our creativity, products, and dedication to excellence. With a strong team, a refreshed inventory, and momentum from a successful 2025, PETR is ready to elevate every event we touch in 2026 and beyond!
